PRIVACY POLICY
Aquatic Capital of America
Effective date: 09/08/2026
Aquatic Capital of America ("we" or "us") operates theaquaticcapital.org and its Google Calendar integration, "The Aquatic Capital of America - Website."
Information we use
When you contact us or join our mailing list, we use the information you provide, such as your name and email address, to respond and send requested updates.
Google Calendar
We access calendars authorized by our organization to support our website's event services. We store event records, which may include titles, descriptions, dates, locations, organizer and attendee names and email addresses, and other event details. Visitors are not asked to connect their Google accounts, and visiting our website does not grant access to their calendars. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or AI training. Our use and transfer of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Hosting and service providers
Wix hosts our website and stores information used by these services. Google provides calendar access. Wix may process IP addresses, browser information, and cookies to operate and secure the website. You can manage cookies in your browser. See Wix's Privacy Policy. External donation, membership, and other linked services have their own privacy policies.
Storage and security
We use encrypted connections for Google Calendar transfers and protected credential storage. Imported calendar records remain until manually removed; deleting a source event or disconnecting a calendar does not automatically erase stored copies. Other records follow our administrative and service-provider retention settings.
Your choices and contact
To ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or stop mailing-list updates, email info@theaquaticcapital.org. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change.
